I just found a nice black stratocaster that's still in good condition for $150 at a pawn shop. Anyone own one of these and is it worth buying?

Some of the newer Squier guitars are actually decent for the price. However, they have also made lots of complete dogshit

I sometimes browse Revolver magazine at grocery store. One time, I guess I was browsing for too long and this dorky assistant manager came over and asked if I was going to buy it. I told him to shut his fucking mouth and stop bothering me while reading. He then said some other crap that I didn't hear as I was blind with rage at this point. I grabbed the back of his head and threw him into a pyramid of soup cans. I recently bought a Squire Telecaster. Sounds good, comfortable to play, but I'm waiting for something awful to happen.
But it didn't cost shit so I kinda don't care as long as it lasts for a few months.

Also, jeb, squires fucking suck. Don't buy one. Man up and buy a les paul already. Play with your neck pickup. Have fun.

I do like the neck pickup when playing clean with some delay effects on my epp les paul. And I'm really laying my eyes on this Schecter C-1 guitar that I played last weekend.

Sometimes you can find a decent Squire, but most of the time they are shit. Play it first, if it plays decently, pick it up.

I just bought this for 150 bucks.
It's an Applause by Ovation AE148. It's an elec/acoustic.
I already have a Takamine acoustic/electric (i don't ever use it plugged in) but i never seen a guitar like this before with the weird soundhole placement. And it still sounds great acoustically.

And it's not fully wood, It has a ABS plastic rounded back. Kinda takes some getting used to playing sitting down. The only way i can describe the shape of the back is that it's kinda like a lutte shape.

Actually those Squier Classic Vibe series are pretty good.
