Yeah you can find stock ones for cheaper but honestly it had the mods I wanted and it was in a combo form along with under two bills after shipping, I could not resist.

i need a little practice amp! i was thinking about buying one of those kits to do it but that would end up more expensive than just buying some old beat up piece of shit

You can still find them modded online for under 2 bills. Even some of the mods are monkey simple and cheap to do as the circuitry is straight forward. I'll post the web site on where you can get the mods.

I was originally going to do a vintage vibrochamp but everyone jacks up the price to ridiculous amounts. thanks, Clapton.

Look at Alamo amps, still can bought for great prices and sounds raunchy when cranked.

Can a Marshall MG15 be modded of higher gain? this thing is only about 60% of where I want it to be...so i hardly ever use it...

..and no, using OD pedals for boost is not a mod...I want this to be all amp...
