I got a quote for 899 including case but this other site wants 599 with case. ANy advice is appreciated.

I prefer a fixed bridge but Floyds aren't THAT bad and can be worked with. I wouldn't trust some faggot at some shop to set my action up though; feel is way too subjective.

i mainly hate floyd rose because i strip the allens the first time i use them and forever after its a pain in the dick. if they were made of better metal, it might notbe so bad

Striping the key or the bolt?
If your stipping the bolt you're cranking on it harder than you have to. The bolt just have to be snug.

And if it's the key that you stripped, you can always buy another one at a hardware store or you can find singles at the music store.

a guitarist in one of my old bands had a BC Rich iron bird with a million switches and a khaler (i think thats how its spelled). i thought it was a lot better than any floyd rossse

I think its a solid deal and the hardware is good for the money... A NJ warlock was the best guitar ive ever played and ive tried a bunch of signature series, so I imagine this will play the same.

The original washburn 333's had inferior hardware and construction. You wouldn't have gotten something much different.

i got a washburn dime from music123 about 7 years ago and it cost me Â£120 - about $200 at the time. apart from the fact it looks utterly ridiculous, it's the best sounding guitar i have for rock / metal and the neck is awesome. i bought an '84 gibson explorer a year or so later for Â£500 and it was money wasted. i learned my lesson, though. play everything before you buy it because price doesn't mean shit.
