i don't know what material the black ones are made out of, they're not like the red ones, but anyway, dunlop has improved these picks in an awesome way, they have a fucking sick no slip grip on them. once you have it in your fingers, there's no way in hell you're going to drop it, or have it shift in your fingers while playing. i suggest picking some up and trying them out, they're the fucking BALLS

the new jazz 3's are top notch. the only problem with them is that i am so comfortable with them that when i play someone else's git/use a different pic i'm noticeably slower and less accurate in my right hand

Undoubtedly the best for fast, accurate picking.. but for fast strumming I always end up hurting my hand with these.

i still prefer the red nylon jazz IIIs
