Cant access site normally for hours a day

I thought something had been up with the site for a week or so but it just must be my computer. Sometimes I can access the site normally but sometimes, for hours at a time, it'll say site not found and I can only access it through a proxy sever.
Anyone know what ups with my computer and how I turn it off?

I've been having this problem a lot too the last few days. It keeps saying cannot connect to server and site not found and bullshit like that.
