Pretty average album compared to TGSTK and VDOP, I could never get into it as much.

The thing about Pantera is that they never really developed beyond that 15-year-old writing style of "here's a cool riff....here's another one...now scream on this part!", etc. I appreciate the idea of what the band was supposed to be but to me they never really lived up to that. I get why people like them though. I probably won't ever sit down and listen to one of their albums again but I won't complain if I hear their music. They're not bad at all. Just okay. FBD is the Master of Puppets of Pantera, but I prefer ...And Justice For All so I'm a TGSTK fan

Master of Puppets was Metallica's best effort. So that would be equal to TGSTK.
