DEVILDRIVER and SUFFOCATION were touted to be teaming up for a January 2010 tour. Complete tour dates have since been announced.
DEVILDRIVER have announced a five-week winter tour of the US and Canada that will kick off in January 2010. Death metal veterans SUFFOCATION will provide main support, with Goatwhore and Thy Will Be Done also appearing on the bill.
“Come on out to this tour and prepare to have your asses handed to you! It’ll be an evening of full metal assault on your senses. Leave your earplugs at home and be prepared for several hours of headbanging.â€
The tour dates are as follows, with more to be announced shortly.
January 7 – The Glasshouse – Pomona, CA
January 9 – Slims – San Francisco, CA
January 11 – Peter’s Room at Roseland Theater – Portland, OR
January 12 – Studio Seven – Seattle, WA
January 13 – Rickshaw Theatre – Vancouver, BC
January 15 – Mesa Theatre – Grand Junction, CO
January 16 – Gothic Theatre – Englewood, CO
January 18 – The Rock – Maplewood, MN
January 19 – The Rave – Milwaukee, WI
January 20 – House of Blues – Chicago, IL
January 22- The Machine Shop – Flint, MI
January 24 – The Mad Hatter – Covington, KY
January 25 – Jaxx – West Springfield, VA
February 1 – Club Soda – Montreal, QUE
I really hate the fact that Suffocation is not headlining this tour. But the fact is DevilDriver is more popular and that's who headlines these fucking shows. Hopefully Suffocation doesn't skip out on the Chicago date like the last two times they were supposed to play here. Goatwhore
