Seasons change, dry skin, split cuticles..

Does anyone else have a problem with this?
Every year going into fall and winter I get really dry skin, especially my hands. It gets so bad that my cuticles around my nails split and bleed. This makes it painful and uncomfortable to play (my bass).

I have tried a few different hand cremes, but they are all greasy and/or don't do the job. Does anyone (preferably a musician) know of any kind of hand creme or conditioner that doesn't make your hands and your guitar neck feel like someone just blew a load on it but keeps your hands from drying out?

i recomend it for healing tattoos but it works wonders on dry hands as well. it lasts for hours, rub it in, wipe it off.

Use cuticle remover cream and keep your cuticles pushed back off the nail.
Two things to try.
Slather the hell outta your hands with vasoline and cover them with tubesocks before you goto bed.
Buy one of the hot wax dips and use it a couple of times a day for your hands.

Truth. A&D stops your skin up and makes you susceptible to staph infections. That's what the "zits" are... sure you know that though...

I get the same thing in the winter, but I just blast through it because I'm dumb as shit when it comes to any injury... big or small.
