				dime vs. hendrix

can't do it. dime was the best metal guitarist, but hendrix was a forerunner for metal, completely revolutionized the guitar sound

pantera420 is right man, its two different leauges. You cannot vote on who is better Dime or Hendrix. For starters Hendrix played blues rock and set the mould for lead guitarists all around in most styles. Dime played heavy metal, and set the foundations for crunchy ass riffs, sweet solos, and just plain fuckin attitude. They are both legends and will remain so throughout the end of time.
This sounds like it should be in the memorial page.

no one knew how to lay down the leads like dimebag; u could take any guitarist that just plays leads all day a mile a minute and not feel a thing you hear, but dimebag was on a diffrent level of aural aggression w/a razor sharp tone to cut through the tune
