CLUTCH, PENTAGRAM, ORANGE GOBLIN Confirmed For PLANET CARAVAN Festival - July 15, 2009

CLUTCH, PENTAGRAM and ORANGE GOBLIN are among the confirmed bands for Planet Caravan, a two-day music festival celebrating the origins of heavy music, set to take place September 18-19 at The Orange Peel Social Aid and Pleasure Club in Asheville, North Carolina.

Featuring a lineup of some of the best emerging and established rock and metal bands, the inaugural installment of the festival showcases heavy music in many of its various sub-genres and incarnations, from doom and psychedelic to progressive and experimental.

I'd check this out if I had time off to travel. Saw Clutch last night, at the HOB for the third time, and they need to stop playing that venue.

I love bands like Orange Goblin, St. Vitus, Electric Wizard and shit, but i don't like Clutch.

Since I live in N.C., I'd really like to make this show. Especially since PENTAGRAM are on the bill. I guess Bobby is in decent shape; the last report of a Pentagram show near D.C. described an abominable peformance.
