Wino opens the show with an acoustic solo set. His originals are not great, but he does a good cover of "Inside Looking Out".

Throttlerod is a tight band, but I am not a big fan of their songs. They were fun to watch though. The drummer looks possessed when he's on the kit.

The Sons of Disaster or whatever they're called were a fun band to watch. They are obviously fans of Clutch and it comes through in their music.

Clutch. Awesome as always. The keyboard player is no longer with the band, and they have adjusted their setlist accordingly. They only played two songs from Robot Hive ("Burning Beard" and "Gravel Road"). The set was heavy on old school songs and songs from Beale Street and the upcoming one. "Abraham Lincoln" is already a classic.

Neil Fallon gets better every single time, even when I think it's not possible. The band was a little tighter than last time.

I guessed what they would open with and got it right. It was "The Soapmakers". :aargh:

To be honest, they sound better on electric and his band backing him but sadly the bassist died recently from an OD and John Paul Gaster probably didn't want to pull double-duty.

That song is heavy on keyboards nigga, don't look for it to be played live anytime soon. There's no information online about why he isn't in the band anymore. :x

Good news! I managed to find this!
They’re still looking for a new organ player. Apparently Clutch will hit the road in Europe later this year with Per Wiberg of Opeth playing the organ.

God I fucking hate when bands neglect songs from what many fans agree is their best album.

Mostly Elephant Riders and earlier

Few songs from Blast Tyrant and Beale Street, almost no Robot Hive, and the 2 new songs.

I'm not familiar enough with the band to say, honestly, but I do have three albums (and downloaded Blast Tyrant but haven't had a chance to really listen to much of it yet) and to me, Robot Hive/Exodus is far better than anything else they've done. To neglect such an awesome album is blasphemy!
