Seriously, it's bad enough that addiction to this place has me living on the edge and clicking threads I know I shouldn't click (especially in the photo/vid forum) - having way too much reckless faith in my fleetness of finger that I can hit 'minimize' or 'back' in time for prolapsedhorseanus.jpg to NOT load open wide.

They MONITOR Internet usage at my job, randomly, remotely covertly and anonymously. They have fired longtime employees in good standing simply because pictures of legitimate clothing models on the FASHION website he was browsing was interpreted as "pornographic".

If I'm careful, I can get away with posting on a forum without anything obscene visible on-screen by avoiding NSFW threads and using my "hit reply right away and then scroll down slowly below the submit button" technique.

If there are little smiley faces holding up defamatory signs, the battle is lost. Even Hitler is borderline, but I can always claim it's Charlie Chaplin.

Please hide the emoticons in the pop-up window. Put something nice and tame like : h e k t i k : or : o r l y : in their main screen spots.

I don't understand your hit reply quickly technique. If they monitor the pictures you download, does it really matter whether you see them on the main part of the thread or below the submit button??

Oh god... what usually happens is that they make a face somewhere between and as soon as they see the picture and pretend that they didn't see anything--I would presume to avoid an awkward moment.
What I've done is to just start laughing and try and explain the truth phrasing things as nicely as possible with only a sprinkle of bs.

Now a few times I was browsing the pbb in class while sitting in the front and stumbled upon pictures too horrible to describe even with a thousand words. There really nothing to do in there other than close the window as is you stumbled upon that page by accident.
