Bad Cat amps

Anyone own one or mess around with one? I have been intrigue since some of my favorite bands have been using them (Qotsa, Barroness), Baroness was using their Hot Cat 30 watt combo and that was LOUD, louder than most 50 to 100 watt tube amps I have heard. They also sound like the amps that if your playing is not at its best, then it shows
