holy fuck this would rule!
OBITUARY guitarist Trevor Peres has told U.K.'s Metal Hammer magazine that a Floridian death metal package tour is currently being planned for the U.S. later in the year before possibly going global.

"We've been talking about putting a death metal package together with OBITUARY, MORBID ANGEL, DEICIDE and SIX FEET UNDER," Peres revealed.

"Nothing's happened yet," he continued. "But we've been talking about trying to do that. It would be a States thing at first but we could go globally, do a Florida death metal tour in Asia, Europe...anywhere that's interested."

"We've spoken to [CANNIBAL] CORPSE already and even SIX FEET UNDER said they'd do it... it's just a matter of time basically."

true, I saw them once with Sworn Enemy and everybody left after SE. There were about 20 people who stayed for SFU.

Obituary
Morbid Angel
Cannibal Corpse
Malevolent Creation
Monstrosity

who would headline? sounds like Obituary is putting it together but I think Morbid Angel or Cannibal Corpse would be a better headliner

MA, CC, and Obituary should all co headline, like that tour a few years ago where Kreator, Destruction, and Sadus did were the rotated and each played equal time.

I would assume with the economy being down, that concert attendance is also down and mega tours like this will be more common over the next few years.

they were on the same bill at one of those big festivals. cannibal actually opened for 6fu.

and the reason cannibal wont let barnes back onstage with them isnt because of george, or because they hate him. the fact is, barnes's voice isnt what it was. his voice is hoarse, he sounds out of breath, his voice cracks. its awful. the average 6fu fan thinks he sounds exactly the same as he did on the bleeding and haunted. if he could still sound that good im sure CC would invite him to do a handful of songs, or duet with george.

cc just doesnt want to embarrass themselves.

George is a better vocalist, I wasn't aware of there even being any dispute there.

I enjoy them as a comedy act, not as a real metal band. Barnes' vocals are hilarious.
