ENSLAVED To Support OPETH On North American Tour

Norwegian masters of progressive/experimental metal ENSLAVED will support Swedish progressive metallers OPETH on their upcoming North American tour. The 23 shows will take place between May 1 and May 27.

Ivar Bjørnson, ENSLAVED's songwriter and guitarist comments: "I am stoked that we are going out with OPETH. We have been admirers of OPETH's work for years, especially the direction of their newer works. This is great news for us to take back to our loyal fans and friends in North America at this point; the reception for our newest album, 'Vertebrae', has been fantastic and unforgettable. the sad part is that metal festivals never work in america unless they are held in a large club or theatre. this country is too full of mainstream shit to ever hold an outdoor metal fest.

it's far from me, i live in a small country town away from everything. it's over several hours away from me. i'm lazy when it comes to driving. enslaved came to nashville a couple years ago, they should come back!

Levi you're going to jizz all over yourself. unless you're expecting Enslaved to play a very long set (it's a respectable 7-8 songs at least, so not festival level of gyppage at least).
