Lamb of God - awesome
As I Lay Crying - above average metalcore at times, but usually not my thing
Bodom - fantastic if they have a decently long set, otherwise they suck
God Forbid - don't really like them
Municipal Waste - probably the band I've wanted to see live the most

Oh yeah, I'm going.

Apparently. I don't know what it is about them, but the juvenile lyrics and plod of a lot of their songs don't bother me too much. Maybe it's because I was a bassist for about six or seven years, but I appreciate stuff that is deceptively technical. For example, that main riff of the ever so popular Laid to Rest sounds like a fairly typical and simple riff, but the dexterity required to nail that perfectly is insane. My hands are frankly too fucking small to get some of those notes cleanly. My index and pinky can't stretch across as many frets as some of their songs require (yes, require, the dropped tuning fucks up a lot of shortcuts with them).

Should I love a band purely because of my small hands? Maybe.

I'd go to see Bodom and Waste, but they probably have 45 and 30 minute sets. Not worth it.

On record I don't have a problem with them - they're decent enough, I just find their work (except BTP) kind of boring after a few listens. Live, they were extremely disappointing. Clutch performed circles around them.

Not only would I not have a very good time attending the No Fear Energy Music Tour, I would DESPISE the majority of the people crowded around me (to the point of feeling physically ill, literally ad nauseum) and would be annoyed by people trying to sell me bootleg Red Bull.

This shit could be down the street and cost $5 and include an ice luge backstage with the guys in MW, I would not go.

Well if this tour would conflict with you going to that I would say fuck it, but if it isn't I do not see why you would not go.

dirt poor = 1 major musical expenditure per year.
