I'm diggin' the gold hardware. What kind of pickups are in it?

I've been thinking about getting a gold Vintage 59 and a P90-style pickup from Guitar Fetish for the Epiphone V I have . Kind of mold it into a Black Beauty V.

The builder was polishing the frets and wiring the hardware, just hasn't finished stringing it yet.

Maybe it's just the pictures not doing it justice. I really love the attributes but for whatever reason the whole is lesser than the sum of the parts for me. Can't really put my finger on it. But  anyway. Wish I could afford to do something like that.

It is something I wouldn't play, I still love the spalted maple though. Was it kind of based off a Ken Lawrence design?

How long did it take him to build your guitar? It didn't seem like that long. Then again I wasn't the one waiting for that guitar to arrive at my doorstep.

Yeah, I had a Jackson Kelly at one time and while it played awesome, you could not play the thing worth a shit sitting down. It was just uncomfortable.

Patents are not as expensive as I had once thought them to be.
