i don't know why the fuck black dahlia murder are on the tour, but fuck it.
nile is kinda boring but fuck it as well.
but behemoth and king fucking diamond i can't wait to see.
i'm going to the gig in san francisco
who else is gonna catch this tour?

I was planning on going but now a month before it came my friend (but more importantly, my ride) told me he wasn't going. I might have to drive down to Phoenix myself I guess (But I have no idea where I'm going so...)

but go to it. it'll be worth it.
i always go to gigs alone, one person i know is really into metal. and i kind of have to introduce him to bands and shit. we haven't been talking a lot lately so i doubt he'll go. and he flakes out on shit like this in general.
so i always end up going alone. i don't give a shit though. i have so much fun

frankly i don't care what you may or may not think of me or nile
when the highlight of their songs are the instrumental/keyboard egyptian shit with the tympani(sp?), before they're completely shat upon by mindless blasts, double bass and incoherent guitar work; that doesn't appeal to me much

nile weren't that bad
better than BDM
but their stage presence was really boring.
the only thing that saves them is their music, at times.
some of it is really cool sounding.
other times its stupid as fuck.
the sweeping, while cool to watch and hear, was annoying kind of. there seemed to be no phrasing or any audible melody. not a lot of their music appeals to my ears.
their best music comes from the computer.
their instrumental/keyboard shit is awesome. and when they base guitar/drum phrasing and melody's off of that, it sounds great.
awesome idea musically, great musicians; but the songwriting leaves something to be desired.
