Wow the only date confirmed so far is the Chicago date, .
I will probably go, it will be the 3rd time I have seen Eluveitie, but seeing Moonsorrow would be cool.

Nowhere NEAR as good as last year, but then again I'm an Ensiferum fanboy. Paganfest was one of my favorite experiences in my lifetime, and I don't think this one will match up at all. It's got more "respectable" folk bands like Primordial and Moonsorrow, but the sheer retarded fun of Turisas and intensity of Ensiferum is something I'm really going to miss. Not to mention Tyr is fucking awesome.

No, I mean respectable. Is there any doubt that Tyr and Ensiferum aren't serious about their music? I mean most stereotypically intellectually dishonest pissants like myself find Primordial and Moonsorrow to be far better bands because of their mastery of atmosphere. UNFORTUNATELY, I break the stereotype every once in a while. Frankly, I'd much rather be in a room full of drunken fools covered in furs and red and black facepaint jigging and shouting "RA-RA-RASPUTIN! RUSSIA'S GREATEST LOVE MACHINE!" than a room full of people standing still and absorbing the music in it's most pure form. I go to concerts to have fun, not listen to music in my own little world... I do that in my fucking house all the time.Bodom J wrote:by respectable, I think you mean serious. Primordial and Moonsorrow know their craft fucking well. Tyr and Ensiferum are good but they can't match primordial and moonsorrow.

So I went to this last night. We missed Swashbuckle DAMNIT! Because I got off of work and stopped to get food. Then on the fucking highway apparently everybody just wanted to stop for absolutely no reason. There was no accident, nothing to make everyone do this; I don't even think there was lanes merging.
Well anyways I was bored out of my mind. Primordial are one of those bands I "just don't get." So fuck, Moonsorrow was cool, but yea. Korpiklaani was awesome, during their set I found out the Blackhawks won, made me happier, I danced the rest of the night.
