I thought Metallica usually wasn't gay and played a lot of their old songs. What the fuck.

besides the new shit, i'm hoping to hear 1-2 songs i haven't heard live yet.

like hit the lights!

but i'll never see a better setlist than last year in Stockholm. Well there's better setlists but won't attend a Metallica gig better than this:

Creeping Death
For Whom The Bell Tolls
Ride The Lightning
Disposable Heroes
The Unforgiven
...And Justice For All
The Memory Remains
No Leaf Clover
Orion
Fade To Black
Master of Puppets
Whiplash
- - - -
Sad But True
Nothing Else Matters
One
Enter Sandman
- - - -
The Four Horsemen
Seek and Destroy

won't see a better gig ever actually.

I think we are going to end up with Ecstacy for this show. I've never done that. I hope it doesn't make me want to fuck guys. Any more than usual anyway.

Load is ok for radio rock, St. Anger is an atrocity with like one part that doesn't make me fall asleep, and Death Magnetic is a good album but I would rather hear a bunchnof their other old classic songs if I were to see them live.

That setlist is fine. Frankly I don't need to hear One again.

The set was actually decent.

That Was Just Your Life
The End Of The Line
Harvester Of Sorrow
For Whom the Bell Tolls
One
Broken, Beat And Scarred
Cyanide
Sad But True
Wherever I May Roam
The Four Horsemen
The Day That Never Comes
Master Of Puppets
Blackened
Nothing Else Matters
Enter Sandman
- - - - - - - -
Last Caress
Breadfan
Seek and Destroy

Down kicked ass, enhanced by mushrooms no less. It was cool seeing them up on this huge, middle arena stage. Great sound and there was probably 7,500 people in the building already.

I would be happy if they just played The House That Jack Built 17 times and then I could go home.
