i don't really like the stealth's

but all the specs and the price seems pretty good

The craftsmanship looks as good as the newer handcrafted models. Personally, i'd like a clearcoat on the body... y'know... without the black laquer. Think it looks nice, but ER ER ER its a chuckie!

Its just not the tone im chasing!

Both of those guitars (bc rich and ibanez) are just Jackson Warrior rip offs.

I was going to say here that the stealth came out way before the warrior, but now that I think about it I'm not 100% sure if that's true. Perhaps I'm the fucking moron!!! Help pbb!!

rip offs or not the design still rules and Ibanez and BC Rich build them with good parts.

The Stealth model was designed by Rick Derringer in 1983.

I see where Phloyd gets the warrior thing from... but more like the wayne star shaped guitars. The star bodys were the thing for the west coast guitar companys back in the early 80's... the stealth is just a meaner look on that shape.

B.C. Rich just dosent make guitars with the same quality any more... Neither do most brands that made the good stuff back in the 80's. I think the peavey wolfgangs were a greatly crafted series of instruments. for the money, greg bennet avion series guitars are a steal for the price, put some duncans in and be done.

If i were to spend 1500 on a guitar right now, i would have to go warmoth.

I didn't have mine trucks running at all this yr. Been busy, And I don't know if you heard but i have a baby boy now.

My neighbour liked my trucks so he bought a jato 3.3. I helped him break it in and gave him some fuel.
He had the car going for at least 2 days before he put it upside down in a ditch. It was the only ditch on our street that had water and he found it.

This was at the start of summer. He took it apart to replace the servos and he hasn't bought them yet.

I have a 3 guitars now, well 4 counting the acoustic. And wasn't planning on buying anymore.
But i was at the guitar store one day with a couple of buddies and tried out an American Standard Stratocaster and fell in love with it.
The guitar is only $1250 so i might just sell of the cars to put towards the guitar.

Congrats on the baby boy

I didnt run mine either this summer. No money or interest.

Sell it to your neighbour

Thats one thing that sucks about RC, the resale value stinks.

Guitars are much better investments in the long run. Id take a nice strat.

Thanks.

You wouldn't believe how many offers I had for the trucks. I told about Great Hobbies but they think it's too complicated with the internet and all. All my orders I got through COD so you don't need a credit card or anything so it's pretty straight forward.

I could probably get a half decent price for it.

it's true, the Stealth were out in the 80's as the original design of Rick Derringer, a player from the 70's and 80's...
