I saw a bass called a Honda at a pawnshop. It was either Honda or Honda II. I recognize the name, but I wanted to know, how do they sound?

No wonder I couldn't find anything on them.aeon wrote:Hondo, not Honda.
Anyway, it's all the same in the dark. So how do they sound?

). Like with any guitar company there's going to be some jems and some crappy models they'll make. I think I lucked out and got a jem. That brings me to another point, they make great guitars to mod and customize. Cheap since they're unknown but many with high-end specs (ex. neck thru construction). Play it and decide for yourself

Damn, I thought from day one it was Hondo, but I wasn't sure.Sheldon wrote:My Hondo's a decent guitar.

That's gonna be a problem, considering I want to get a bass with good sustain. I am looking at a Washburn T24 as well. They say the sustain on those are incredible. They are neckthru and I think stringthru as well. Plus they say it has a real clear sound to it.Pflöyd wrote:My first bass was a Hondo. I defretted it but since it was made of masonite, it had the resonance of a block of concrete. It sounded cool for upright-style muted parts, but that was about the extent of it.
Play a Sadowsky or Wal.hektik wrote:I enjoy my spector bass. I will never go back to anything else.
