never seen opeth live and really have no interest to do so but high on fire fucking slay live. heavy as fuck. seeing them live is like being bashed in the face by a hammer except you enjoy it.

I just got back from this an hour or so ago, the crowd was shitty but Baroness and HoF were not. The crowd for Opeth were even more gay as this goth kid who rambled on about playing WoW started Charlie Brown dancing.

Opeth fans these days suck! I remember going to see them way back in 2001 when they opened for Nevermore. only metalheads at that show! now they attract all the goth and emo kids to their shows.
