I don't feel like weeding through a million death metal albums to find a few thrash albums in that fucking thread. Post strictly thrash here, make that other thread the death metal album thread since it's a majority obscure silly death metal.

Celtic Frost's Vanity/Nemesis is a lost gem that is often overlooked as it followed the critically mauled Cold Lake (which, truth be told wasn't really all that bad anyway). A killer album, definately check it out if you haven't already. Tup

I couldn't get into Monotheist, though- save for the few experimental elements it just didn't seem much like a Celtic Frost album.

Figure Number Five is probably their worst album.

Get The Chainheart Machine and then Natural Born Chaos.

The latter is more polished, so i don't know if you'll like it. It is fucking brilliant, though.

After that get Stabbing the drama. Tup

Yeah, i don't know what to think of their latest. It's good but they lost their main songwriter and drummer, and it seems to show. Sad

a predator's portrait and natural born chaos are both fucking amazing and two of the best metal albums ever to be conceived by man. period.

figure number 5 is their worst album. Stabbing the drama is solid, worth your money or downloading time. the newest one grew on me but it's average at best. they need to flesh out their songs more. steelbath suicide and the chainheart machine are good but noting unique like APP or NBC

i can recommend a little side project from Umeå called Guillotine. First album Under the guillotine came out in 1997, and they just released Blood Money.

It's in the german Kreator-ish style.
