I went into the studio last night to start writing, 2 and half hours later we have a song written. Still needs some lyrics, the singer just threw words off the cuff for structure. It came out very "80's metal" sounding....but it felt good to start writing after 6 years in a cover band. It's pretty raw now, after we clean it up abit I'll post some sound bites...

yeah, pretty amazing, you find ability in yourself that you never knew you had when your writing.

Oh c'mon, PA, how hard is it to write unison riffs behind the guitarist?

i refuse to believe you haven't written a song in 6 years. maybe not in a band but i've bet you've had a throw about with yourself. if you haven't you're a dick.

Yeah, I have written some stuff, nothing to completion though....oh, and I'm a dick anyway!
