I think pages playing is sloppy and led zeppelin are over-rated and NOT heavy metal as rolling stone calls them..BUT this new guitar is sweet..Id maybe throw an emg in the bridge

Jimmy Page rules. Anything he'd want to play in whatever style he does is badass. That's why I love Led Zeppelin, diverse as shit.

And I don't consider them metal either. They contributed to it in certain aspects, but they weren't a heavy metal band. Their music was too all over the map stylistically for them to be any one thing in my opinion.

i personally hate middle pickups
i had a single coil in the middle pickup on my ibanez rg and i had to rip it out.
when i picked a string i would hit the pickup. so you would here click click click under the notes, picking it up over the amp. nothing would remedy it, i tried to change the action and i kept doing the same thing.

so i just took off the pickguard unscrewed the pickup and ripped it off the double coil

i didn't fill in the hole just left it. i did this to the guitar about 10 yrs ago and to this day it still looks like crap.

actually the over all songs by the crue are BETTER then dead zeppelin i was a big zep fan in jr high had Alll the cds..it was just a PHASE..yeah i only judge my musik by how much drugs and pussy they get

..although it helps..its not a major factor
