I agree with that comment. That would work if the music wasn't something so bland and simple as what they were playing to, but it sounds stupid as it is.

On a side note, I always notice a lot of black drummers playing in live hip-hop or rock bands will be playing a real simple kick 1-3/snare 2-4 beat and they'll be wailing and mugging for the camera like they're playing Keith Moon shit or something. I've never seen people try to take something so simple and pretend its the fanciest thing in the world.

stupid. a looped, groove-filled bass line and they do a bunch of drum wankery over it instead of compliment the beat.
