I love my seven-string Ibanez, but it's a hard-tail. I have a Schecter bass which is pretty awesome but never played their guitars.

right on man

i want a hardtail in this guitar i will purchash.. the thing that is turning me on about the scheter is that the "better" models already come with decent pickups.. what i dont like is the set neck.. im afraid it would get fucked up in my house.. my house is cold in the winter and hot in the summer.. shitty climate control in this joint

My Schecter Bass: a work of fucking art

I'm pissed that Dean Markley Randy Jackson gold strings don't come in five-string sets because they'd look awesome on this bass.

Yeah, I'll agree. I don't get anything from them other than one-day shipping because their warehouse is in KC.

I've got two 7 strings, an Ibanez RG7420 and an LTD M207. I have no problem with having a floyd rose, but all the same I love both these guitars. Never played much on a schecter, but I've only heard good things.

I own a Schecter C-7 Blackjack and adore it. Plays incredible for the price and considering it's made in Korea. I just bought an LTD H-207 for cheap which I only really have good things to say about except for the pickups. But that's to be expected and it's an 80 dollar fix. Tuners leave something to be desired too but they're not bad. The pickups are duncan designed and they're clipping monsters. All the 7 string Ibanez's I've played, I've really liked.
I don't think you can go wrong with any of these companies. However I will say that you'll probably get more bang for your buck with Schecter. They just seem to be able to churn out more quality in their product for X amount of money. I spent 700 bucks on it and it plays better than the couple of SL-1's I've played, honestly.

Yeah you can buy them. I've been thinking about getting one for a while but I don't think I'd have a practical use for it.

Right now I have an ESP, and I'm getting a Dean soon

My singer just bought a custom shop Ibanez 8 string guitar. Rediculous. He's in another band and they try to be the most death metal ever, but 8 string guitar .

Why not get a case? A gig bag is only slightly better than no case at all.

i dont transport my guitars that often.. and if im lucky it will fit in my rg's hardshell case if i think i need it.. the bags more or less so it doesent get scratched in my room.. plus the gig bag was alot cheaper

the shecter diamond series guitar case got shitty reviews which also kept me away from it..

if i think i need one i could scoop a used one cheap down the road if need be

damn yo i want my guitar

Gotcha. It should fit in your regular guitar case just fine (unless you have a tiny case).
