what style volume knobs do you guys use

this is even more important than what frets you chose you know when it comes down to shredding away you really need a good knob

I took the tone knob off mine, I actually use the volume knob in our set.

you can still adjust them, jsut grab the peg and twist. i removed them for practical reasons.. they get in the way of my picking style

It's quite awkward though. I only got rid of the tone because I'd sometimes roll off the tone by accident and a tele with the tone rolled off sounds quiet and murky as shit.
