it's on youtube, it's some dude playing an acoustic guitar but he does all kinds of neat tapping and harmonics on it...if it helps, he had a red bandana tied to his head stock for some reason, if you know what I'm talking about, find me the video.

If you like that guy you should check out Michael Hedges, Don Ross, Leo Kottke, and Andy McKee (these are the only ones I know anyways, there are tons more).

Here are some videos!

Michael Hedges - Areal Boundaries
http://youtube.com/watch?v=KYTZ550D504&feature=related

Don Ross - Afraid to dance, and Dracula and Friends part 2
http://youtube.com/watch?v=PsgKVkTVX_E
http://youtube.com/watch?v=cjzX6F6DmQA
(I like his style, kind of funky at times)

Leo Kottke - Air Proofing
http://youtube.com/watch?v=CX-jOhZ3b4A&feature=related
I'm actually kind of unfamiliar with Kottke's work, my dad is really into him, so I only really know him from the couple of times I've heard him in the car and whatnot. I don't like driving with my dad much because he makes me sit on his lap and he touches my hair.

Andy Mckee - Drifting

I'm kind of just getting into this stuff right now, so I can't reall recommend any albums or anything, i'm sure someone here is more knowledgeable than I am about this stuff, and could recommend you more. Because thats what you asked for, ho ho, just kidding, it wasn't. This post was pointless and gay.

That rediculous bass+guitar acoustic that Andy Mckee has is amazing. I want one.

It's some kind of lute/guitar hybrid thing. I've seen a lute similar to that before on this video with Sting playing John Dowland's* "Can She Forgive/Excuse My Wrongs"

I did research and found out it's called a Harp guitar. An instrument that was around in the early 1900's.

I loved that song Drifting by Andy Mckee so much that I learned it. I can't play it as clean as him but it sounds good. His acoustic is really nice, my epiphone has 3+ year old strings.
