k i stashed a bunch of heroin syringes inside the back of my amp for like a week.wrapped in plastic .when i took them out i plugged in and the amp now sounds like complete shit is it cause of the metal on the needles close to the magnet??they had caps on em so they didnt poke the speaker..i dont get why the amp now sounds like shit

anybody know?

hahahhahahha

i doubt it. but once i kept a marshall head in my car for a couple weeks(in the cold) and i think that fucked it up. the reason i know is because the dude i sold it to on ebay said it needed a new chip. i told him if he scanned and sent a repair for the bill i would reimburse him. that never happened, thank god.

I knew this when the thread was posted and waited to see if anyone would call him on it. Then forgot about it till now.

Syringe needles are Surgical Steel (stainless) and are not magnetic.
I'm calling bullshit to the whole stupid fucking story.

all i can say is after i stashed my needles behind my amp for a few days..i turned it on and it sounds like fuck. why is that so hard to believe? I didnt shoot my amp up with heroin or anything..maybe one poked a hole in the speaker??i dont know but it sounds like shit ever since i put those arm darts behind my amp.

My amp's overdrive switch seems to be messed up. Yesterday, in the middle of my playing, it lost it's bass or something and it sounded like crap. Anybody know this reason?

depends if it's a piece of shit or not. Get it repaired if it's a marshall, Mesa, Bogner, Kettner....etc.

Crate, Peavey, Line 6, etc....toss it and get ^ see above.

The Hughes and Kettener amp that I tried out wasn't to my taste at all. It sounded horrible for the price, it had that dead cardboard marshall MG sound even though it was supposedly all valve. It could have been the guitar, but I wan't impressed.
