Well, that's cool that you have your own opinion. I know a lot of people like Marshall because every other bands plays one, but I like Marshall for what it is. It's got nice warm tone to it and it's fuckin heavy. Two of my good friends like Line 6, but the sound is just not heavy enough. Another good amp that I'm planning on getting is the Mesa Boogie...My fiance and I checked one out together and decided that that we would start saving up for one...

well its also personal opinions... if you like a marshall sound to me the vintage marshalls (pre 1990) are badass. other brands like mesa boogie, krank, orange, laney, peavey, fender, vox and countless more are preferred by different people. In the end its really your personal opinion that counts and what kind of sound you are going for.
