i used to play a classical, and really got into that flamenco shit and played it for all its worth till i got sick of it. now that i'm just a cross pickin' fool w/a steel string, i only have mastery of the 1st 15 frets.there's always room for improvement but i'm gettin' sick of not havin' distortion to plug into. given to the fact that accoustic and electrics are 2 different ballparks, has playin' an accoustic ever enchance your electric guitar ablities? i've noticed how much less choppy and sloppy i've become w/a little bit of practice...

Playing an acoustic is always good for your electric playing. Even practicing on an acoustic bass has helped my electric technique tenfold.

Acousics generally require more strength, I always make a tit of myself when I pick up an acoustic guitar.

Yea because the strings are thicker (a little) and its harder to push down on them.
after a few hours or even minutes of playin acoustic=shreddin electric clean chops

not to mention, distortion makes it sound better and you cant hear your mistakes...
