Looking to tighten up my tone a little and experiment with these tools. Anyone use them and if so would you recommend them for others, like myself? Mainly for metal orientated stuff, quick stacatto rythyms and smooth solo sounds. Basically I know fuck all about the certain types/models etc like what to avoid or whatever.

I've used them before slightly but mostly with micing up kits for recording, rather than live guitaring.

So yeh... any suggestions? Wouldn't mind lookin toward rackmount stuff too. Cheers
