I joined an original project 2 weeks ago with this guy, I gave him a few suggestions after our 3rd practice together and he fired me. I just told him that his solos were too long, and that he tried to put too many hooks/riffs into one song. He e-mailed me today saying that my services were no longer needed. The singer called me and said that he and the drummer were pissed cuz now they had no bass player at all.

I e-mailed him back saying with that attitude, I don't want to play with him anyway.

I love when bands have this description of their sound that makes them sound cutting edge and it's really just a fancy way of saying "We sound like shit that was popular like 15 years ago."
