sorry dude, but that's not how it's done. left hand.. index finger on the string.. pull off with middle finger with the same hand. voila. you need to know how to mute the strings though.

thats totally wrong...
one question, why would you have to pull off on second fret, then tap at fifth?
it doesnt matter where you pull off, and you can tap anywhere you can get a natural harmonic ( 4,5,7,9,12 wherever )

you people are fucking ridiculous...I was just showing a basic idea of how to do it, you can do however the fuck you want.
I'm sorry if I'm not an extreme poser like most of you. I'm just offering a little tip for those who have not had the luxury of knowing one way of doing it.

I get a kick out of when I accidently get a harmonic squeal with my bass. I have tried to do it on purpose, but it takes too much gain to get it right, but every now and then it just happens and I let it ring. It pisses my guitar players off.
