Update: Upcoming Australian Shows

Arcturus are playing this month! 31st March at the Espy, Melbourne. Find other gigs elsewhere 'cause I don't care about Sydney etc. Brisbane are being treated to Astriaal supporting.
The Furor (part of Metalstock Festival, which is shit, as are all the bands playing it, except this one) are playing at the Arthouse, which is the smallest venue ever, it's going to be awesome - 30th March. Clagg are pretty good as well, I forgot about them.
Cauldron Black Ram, Kill for Satan, Destruktor, Denouncement Pyre, Dioceltian, Shackles & WitchRipper (Evil Invaders Festival) Cauldron Black Ram are mad, I don't know why Raven Black Night and Stargazer aren't playing but oh well. Kill for Satan are good as well, looking forward to hearing WitchRipper and Denouncement Pyre are apparently awesome and haven't played a show in years so we'll have to wait and see. 10th March at the HiFi.

the only bands i'd really, really be overly excited to see are satyricon, arcturus, khold, darkthrone, my dying bride and enslaved.
i think mdb have been here before so there's a chance they'll come back, even though the new album is pretty shithouse.. darkthrone is a never, satyricon and arcturus are coming and yeah, we're incredibly lucky.. i thought i'd see darkthrone before arcturus.. seriously. and i really have no idea about enslaved.

Awesome! I got awesome seats here. Any further word on Portnoy? I've not read anything..
I've been looking after their rider.. Petrucci has a bit of a fondness for baby products it seems, Vai is a huge health-nut and Satriani's the diva.
My housebuddy works for an instrument chain and they're doing an instore too.. G3 comin' out our ears! It's on Sunday here, and Satyricon is Saturday.. so uhh I'm not going to be very well at all

Yeah.. but it's at a venue I work for, right. I see the programming info for all our shows. If Portnoy was coming we'd need his rider requests and at the very least, a dressing room. Surprise acts are nothing new, and it can happen.. just saying, direct from the horses mouth.. It doesn't appear that he is. So.. what I was wondering was where you heard it in the first place, probably got it from a site I'm assuming.. and if you did, link me please! 'Cause I know nothing.
They'll probably land there, why don't you hang out at the airport and check?
