Cowboy's great but in originality but, except PrimalCS, I think it's too hard rock and too light
Vulgar Display of Power is the first Thrash metal album of them...
But still not as heavy as they could, great great songs already... but the vocals and guitar were more agressive in
Far Beyond Drive - for me it's the beggining of the massacre :aargh:
Every fucking music is heavy and agressive as hell
From there on,
GSTK and RTS are both violent and very original... with very inovative concepts... like in "you've gotta belong to it" where one of the main riffs is a slide... There's something differente about those songs..
Something that many bands like 'nowadays Slayer' try to reach,
A Crunchy, Heavy, Agressive sound.. simple and groovy
But I have never seen any other band that managed to do it in such a fluent and unique way as pantera
FUCKING KINGS OF METAL! :aargh: :aargh:

the song blood in my eyes is not stuck mojo song.. reborn and southern pride is though

those 3 songs are some mojos slowest/weakest... of their music,

listen to drawing blood by stuck mojo^ that song doesnt groove like other songs or shredd.. but the riff is powerful as hell and solo fuckin owns.

Image

lol phil looks fat lol.. the black dude beside phil is bonz mojos singer... ive met him dude act's white and sports rebel flag and shit haha.

here's pic of stuck mojo and dime and phil after show on tour together.

CFH and Vulgar blew the face of heavy metal. Everytime i hear these albums i think of how Darrell broke his soul to create the hardest and heaviest music on guitar ever - in yer face metallica/megadeth!

FBD is the beginning of all things commercial however, was good for marketing the band in the sense of being recognised worldwide and finally making them some money. Dime guitarin was out of this world, not so much a follow from VDP but on a different level - a newer level!!!

Trendkill is very dark and depressing. Think this was down to the drugs phil was bringin to the 'pantera table'. Still some wicked riffs and very heavy indeed.

Not big into live albums. I think its a marketing ploy to churn out some money without makin music. Not a fault of the band - but the management. But being a Pantera, I had to buy it anyway. Surprised how good it was and the bonus tracks were fantastic.

I thought Pantera were back with it when Reinventing the Steel was released. Fookin Music to my ears! Only seems like it was released yesterday. Last time i listened to it: 8am this morning doin 160kmph down the motorway in my M3.

Id have to say 101% proof is the least attractive album. Only for its money spinnin though and nothing else. Fookin best band in the world.

Pantera has always kicked ass. What the fuck is up with some of these assholes in this thread man? I thought this web site was for Pantera fans. They've always put out the bad ass tracks that kick you in teeth and leave you bleedin on the pavement. So whatever. :fu:
