Hmm.. What exactly are you planning on recording?

They're all pretty differant animals.

For a start, the Delta has the ability to record 10 audio tracks similtaniously (useful if recording many instruments at the same time or a fully mic'd drumkit).

The Echo & the Terratec seemingly can only record 2 inputs at the same time.

I'm more worried about the MIDI and low latency specs. Most of what I do is MIDI.

That's what I was thinking... but with the Echo... I could drop that bitch on the VAIO I'm getting sometime within the next few months. :|):

Well, if most of what you do is MIDI, why are ya listing soundcards with 10 audio inputs

Go M-Audio, but get something like the Audiophile 24/96. It's pretty much exactly the same but with only 2 audio inputs and about 1/3 of the price!

It's what I use & i'm very happy with it!

Well it looks like I'm going to be getting either the Gina or an Edirol external module... since I'm getting a laptop in a couple weeks. :|):
