Why I like living in this area.

In Nov. there is 2 more bass clinics, another with Victor Wooten and this time also Steve Baily, and this guy is doing one in early Nov.

Thursday night I'm heading over to the mall where they are having a grand opening for a dept store (Boscovs) and there selling his new fragrance
will be Mr. Gene Simmons. Stay tuned for pics of me and the "godfather of marketing"

Yeah, I hate money, it serves no purpose in life, I can't see why anyone would want to obtain as much of it as they can.

Gene: (while molesting my wife) "Is this my prize, do I get to keep her"
PaBass: "sure, just send Shannon my way"
Gene: "So, you have been watching the show"
PABass: "I've seen a few episodes"
Gene: "What do you think of my children"?
PABass: "Considering your celebrity status, your doing better than Ozzy"
Gene: (laughs) "My kids would never talk to me like that"
PABass: "Are you gonna do "Babefest" in Philly again this year"
Gene: "Oh yeah, that sure didn't suck"!!!
Security Guard: "Sir, you have to move along now"
Gene: (to security guard) "Calm down, we're talking"
PABass: "It was great to meet you, thanks"
Gene: "Um, you forgot your wife" (hugs her again)
All in all, he was pretty cool. He payed extra attention to the kids and elderly
and seemed pretty genuine in conversation, but yeah he loves his money and it shows, the "toe guards" on his boots had diamonds in them.

I like living in this area. . . it's kind of like an alternate universe. Anytime you step out of the house, you see nothing but miles of potatoes. Thankfully, I'm not allergic to them. . . but my bass player is. He was learning YYZ the other day and he told me, 'this song isn't easy. . . but it's easier than trying to eat potatoes, because I'd be gagging right now'. We then improvised some funk/black metal/jazz fusion in 3/4. Talk about difficult.
