ok im pretty bored lately, dont know what to play...

i was wondering if someone here can recommend me something to play... the song has to be in D tuning, and i would lke it to be fast and pretty hard to play ( not too hard, but you know, kinda like something of symphony x or dream theater, allthough i dont like those bands... )

...

anyone?

??

e = d
b = a
g = f
d = c
a = g
e = d

was that so hard to understand?

thats how we write it down here, dont know about you guys...

besides, when you read a tab, it says:

e---
b---
g---
d---
a---
e---

you dont read from bottom to top, do you?

Although you do make a good point, its always seen from 6 to 1, so it would be: e a d g b e.

Well, I havn't played in D in a while but a kickass band that has some songs in D is Arsis! I havn't checked recently but there was maybe 3 tabs online, one of them i wrote, and the other i checked and was pretty decent. Face of my innocence is in dropped C though.

"dropped d" means just dropping the low e to d. dropping all the strings a whole step should be referred to as " d standard".

guitar world always lists tunings "low to high". that's what most people go by.

can't think of any prog metal songs in d standard off the top of my head.

fuck greenland. let's take that shit.
