i wasn't given any paperwork when i first purchased my gibson explorer and i was wondering where i could go to get more information about it. i've typed 'gibson serial number finder' etc. into google but nothing's come up?

any advice would be appreciated.

there is an extensive gibson message board, most of the people on there are collectors and really know thier shit.
