It's just a dropped 6th stringSuicideNote wrote:The guitar tuning for that song is retarded if you try to play several songs in a row.
I was just about to say that.warhead dime wrote:It's just a dropped 6th stringSuicideNote wrote:The guitar tuning for that song is retarded if you try to play several songs in a row.
I agree, a drunk person with an acoustic around a campfire....that would suck- I saw it live in '97 and it was amazing -Lord of This World wrote:planet caravan is all about the atmosphere of that recording. i really dont see it working in a live performance.

Who does the high part in Man In A Box? If you can wail like that, you should start singing everyday.PhilCore wrote:axlash wrote:alice in chains- anything acoustic, except for brother, cuz you'll sound like shit![]()
although i don't play guitar, i fucking nail this song, along with all layne's parts in the acoustic stuff. if i had decent breath control (i don't, winded after five or six minutes) i could probably front a passable cover band.
Man in the box is one of the easier songs to sing. If you can make the transition from normal to falsetto flawlessly like he does before the solo in Would and in Rooster then you're doing not too bad for yourself in the vocal department.SuicideNote wrote:Who does the high part in Man In A Box? you can falsetto all you want but it takes fucking pipes to sing the chorus of man in the box.dead forever wrote:Man in the box is one of the easier songs to sing. The hardest part is the chorus, the last chorus being the most difficult. But it really isnt that hard hitting the notes, getting the correct tone or whatever is another thing.Lord of This World wrote:you can falsetto all you want but it takes fucking pipes to sing the chorus of man in the box.dead forever wrote:Man in the box is one of the easier songs to sing. exactly. most people can't hit the note AND have that much power and attitude in their voice.dead forever wrote:The hardest part is the chorus, the last chorus being the most difficult.
