they are playing some shitty festival thing here with a bunch of other gay bands, id rather drive 45 minutes on the highway than sit through 20 gay ass bands.

i wish layne was still alive to sing with them but i disagree 100 perecent that it's pitiful. why should jerry suffer because layne was a dumbfuck who let himself go and die? It's jerry's band too, i support him in going on.

people that keep whining about "it's not AIC without Layne" are not AIC fans at all, but rather just casual rock fans who decided it would be a good idea to jump on the band wagon as if thier voice actually meant something.

Im just bothered with peoples obsession to continue things that are dead and gone...Its just my opinion..you dont have to agree at all.

Calm yourself jack off... It was a question...not a statement- Someone told me he wasn't a part of it, and I was just curious...AIC has been one my favorite bands since 1993...im not just a fuckin band wagoner...In fact, if I was just a band wagon nerd I would totally support anyone replacing Layne, just to get the chance to see them...but im not so stfu

Just got back from this. Very good show, overall. DuVall's vocals can be slightly annoying at times, but otherwise he did a damn good job. I gotta admit, it was kind of disappointing at first hearing someone else singing these songs, but it didn't take long for me to really start enjoying it. The guys were all obviously having a great time, and the vibe was amazing (especially with the entire crowd singing along to so many parts).
I'm so glad I went.

Good for them. You can't just crawl up and die when someone else does. Jerry is a very good singer. I have Mad Season with Layne. Music is forever.

No, it's an Indian word. Do you know how to spell DUH? You're as dumb as a box of rocks

Oh it's Indian. Great. So it's different from Coachella Valley, which is also named after an Indian word. That's a pretty cool coincedence that there's also a Cochella Valley!

I saw AIC opening for Extreme (seriously) at the Cotton Club in Atlanta back in the early 90's. I saw AIC again back in October in Winston-Salem. Honestly, the Winston-Salem show was better.
