The Recorder

this was a very cool instrument as a kid and i was very good at it!

does anyone play this as an adult? not people from the board obviously but in general, does it serve any practical purpose outside of teaching elementary school kids how to not sound like completely discordant douchebags and manage a little harmony?

like does classical or jazz or anything that anyone knows of ever utilize a recorder-er? serious q.

16th C. Medieval instruments that come in chests are gay. Even when they're from England.

I was awesome at the recorder. The teacher said my rendition of Hot Cross Buns was the best she's ever heard, i would have gotten signed but i said i had to finish school first.

I'm not a fan of the sound of the recorder, though i'm sure I could use it for something.

I love the sound of sax, trumpet, trombone, and clarinet but I have weak lungs so I'd never be able to play them very well.

I'm going to start a band with a bassoonist, you just wait.
