They're both Deans, therefore they both rule, but my vote goes to the 79 ML. As far as I know, the 79 is made out of mahogany as opposed the Dime-O-Flage's basswood body, and I prefer the tone out of mahogany over any other wood.
If you can, try em' both out and see which you like better, but if it were up to me I'd pick up the 79.
