Jackson SLSMG

Anybody played this soloist? I havn't, but it sounds really nice. I really need a new guitar, cuz I feel the dime has been holding me back and it's annoying i cant get the sound that i want out of it
. I think the soloist is the best option for me in that price range (900), I hear its good for playing technical stuff and its got a low action and fast neck. but then again.. I havn't really felt one in my hands. Do you guys like it? Help a negro out! -thanks

Seriosuly, go to a guitar shop and try some stuff out. I would never buy a guitar online.

When I was looking for guitars that was one of the ones I tried out. I didn't really get to spend too much time playing it because it was just above my price range, but it did have nice action and sustain. Definitely go and try one out, I'm pretty sure guitar center should have it.

blech with the RR.. one of my best buds has a RR1 and i've played it tons.. the neck is comfy but its a small guitar and i find v's annoying. but yeah.. I also dislike the idea of not trying the guitar out and buying it online, but I'm desperate lol. Actually a friend of mine owns a SL2 or whatever its called (the pricier one) so I think I'm gonna go try his out.. possibly buy it from him haha. Thing is he's more of a friend's friend.. so I dont know him that well, but he digs my playing so I'm pretty sure he'll let me play it for a good while.

Guitar center never has upper end jacksons when I go there. I ordered my sl1 online without playing one..but it plays really nice. I play my dk2 more though...cause i can fuck it up more and take it places without worrying too much about it.

thats true. what differences do you notice between the soloist and the dinky? Is there a vast difference between the necks?

I have a Dxmg. I played a soloist and coudn't tell that much of a difference. From seeing your style and the way you play Jandro, i bet you'd fucking love the SLSMG.
