i went for the day yesterday, it was good. down were the surprise band, which most people knew anyway, alice in chains were great, opeth were good, metallica were awesome. best metallica set i've seen, master of puppets in its entirety =

Apparently down missed out temptations wings and stone the crow which is a bold but unpopular move. I thought if they were pushed for time they would have eliminated other songs but hey, never underestimate the kid, and phil is the fucking kid!

it was only a half hour set, so they couldnt play everything. i was surprised that they didnt play temptations wings though. i cant remember the set completely, the did play lysergik, new orleans is a.. etc, lifer, bury me in smoke, hail the leaf. one or two others that im forgetting.
