Fantastic sport! The speed and violence of hockey, the finesse of Lacrosse....
I highly recommend checking out the championship game on May 13, on ESPN 2- Buffalo Bandits vs. Colorado Mammoth. Not just because a Colorado team is playing, but because it's a badass sport......

is it just me or is the NLL season really short?
i think i caught one Toronto Rock game on tv this season, and before i know it they're out of the playoffs. i didnt even know the playoffs had started.

It is a fairly short season. Starts in late December, season over by end of April. 16 games per team. Playoffs are like NFL- you lose you're out.
It might be a short season, but goddamn is it a violent season!

When i was in high school, everyone i knew that played hockey (myself included) hated lacrosse players. "The guys who never learned to skate" we called them.
