It is a fact that Behind The Music: Pantera will be airing May 11th on Vh1. Check your local listings for exact time. This show kicks serious ass, that's all I will say. Prepare to scream, laugh, cry, and bang your head all in one hour...

im thinking it will be a piece of shit due to the fact vinnie paul is milking his brothers death and cannot accept the person he once called his brothers apology.

I just hope it focuses on Pantera....and not the bullshit after the breakup.
I don't want to listen to Vinnie calling Phil names and vice versa.

BLABBERMOUTH.NET has received more information about the upcoming VH1 "Behind the Music" special on PANTERA, which has a premiere date of May 11. According to Dan Masek, who worked on the program as a segment producer,
the show will include brand new interviews with the surviving members of PANTERA — Vinnie Paul Abbott (drums), Philip Anselmo (vocals) and Rex Brown (bass) — along with appearances by Guy Sykes (tour manager), Walter O'Brien (manager), Terry Date (producer), about five members of PANTERA's/DAMAGEPLAN's crew, and Rita Haney ("Dimebag" Darrell Abbott's girlfriend). "We also have a few special guests that will be appearing in the show," Masek told BLABBERMOUTH.NET. "This includes other musicians who were friends with PANTERA as well as some people who were closely involved in the Alrosa Villa shooting. The episode also features shocking video and police dispatch/911 calls from the tragic night of the shooting."

It's on at 10pm here in Massachusetts! I have a bad feeling that most of the show will focus on the tragedy.
